Graphic Tees Galore

It's definitely fun to dress up in cute dresses, skirts, and flirty tops. But at the end of the day, you simply cannot go wrong with a graphic tee. I absolutely love graphic tees. Graphic tees are such a vital part of my wardrobe because they're the absolute perfect counterpart to skinny jeans, leggings, or shorts but do so much more than your solid tee. With Spring and Summer just around the corner, I'm starting to see graphic tees pop up everywhere, and I'm loving it!
Below are some of my favorite designers of graphic tees that will surely spice up any outfit.

1. Zoe Karssen
Black Skull Muscle - $62

Love is Everything Muscle - $62

Born Wild Tee - $75

2. Wildfox
American Beach Party - $77

Resort Palms - $64 (On sale for $52 at Bloomingdales!)

Kiss a Groupie Charlie - $60

3. Lauren Moshi

Sip Velvet Underground Boxy - $64

5. Marc by Marc Jacobs

My Recent Reaches

We all have a few pieces that go through the laundry rotation more than others. Whether they match with everything, they're super comfortable, or they just make you happy, we reach for them most. While I have a ton of clothing I love to wear often, here are some of those pieces I have been grabbing most the past few weeks.

I love wearing my House of Harlow necklace ($75) because it looks great with an LBD at night, a button down for a more professional look, but it also looks incredible with a plain t-shirt during the day. I wear this necklace most often with a plain white tee and bright denim.

This is my go-to bag right now and I'm confident I will never get sick of it. This Rebecca Minkoff bag ($330) can be worn on the shoulder with double straps as photographed above, on the shoulder with just one long strap, or as a crossbody. The versatility of it makes it perfect for an every day bag, and it matches with absolutely everything. I happen to have it with silver hardware, but you can't go wrong with either.

I chose this Michael Kors watch ($250) because it matches everything. I wear silver jewelry every day but sometimes at night I like to switch it up and wear gold, so this watch can easily transfer from day to night with me. I love the roman numerals and the classiness of this watch.

I discovered my Paige jeans ($179) this past summer. While they look like the basic blue jean, the fit is impeccable. The perfect amount of stretch combines with good quality and flatters like no other.

This Free People jacket ($128) is a great piece to have. The picture above fails to show the black patches on the elbows and the distressed look, which pretty much give it its character. I love wearing this jacket with all black for an effortlessly chic look.

I just purchased this Express dress ($40) last weekend in two different colors and I am already in love. Not only is the fit so flattering and the style so cute and functional, but it can be dressed up or dressed down and will remain extremely stylish either way. It also comes in almost every color imaginable. PS- the dress does not come with the belt, but I like it better without one anyway.

These American Apparel leggings ($34) have revolutionized my wardrobe. Melodramatic maybe, but instead of wearing your basic cotton legging, I love wearing these nylon leggings to add a ton of personality to my outfits. I have them in black, navy, and grey and I wear them just as I would wear cotton leggings...but they're way cuter!

Some people think that these Steve Madden boots ($190) are a lot to handle, but I love them. I have tons of plain black boots, but these are so edgy and fun. I wear them mostly with leggings, an oversized, long tee and a long necklace, and they make the outfit.

These Dolce Vita wedges ($165) are the absolute best wedges I have ever owned. After buying them in black, I had to purchase them in brown as well. Not only are they adorable and practical, but...you can actually walk in them! Trust me, the world's worst heel-walker, when I tell you that these are the most comfortable wedges I have ever put on, and for that reason alone, I would repurchase them over and over again.

Lastly, you cannot go wrong with these Sam Edelman sandals ($65). I own these in a bunch of colors and find myself grabbing them all the time. They truly work with any and every outfit and they're made well so they don't self destruct at the end of just one summer.

What are YOU reaching for?

YOUR Everyday Necklace

These are the two necklaces I have worn every day for close to a year.

I wear my Alex Woo "E" ($168) obviously because it's my initial, but also because I absolutely love the font of it as well as the boldness of it. As compared to the dainty script Tiffany & Co "E" I have worn in the past, this "E" is a lot more substantial and more fitting with my personality. Let me just say that I absolutely LOVE all of the Alex Woo necklaces. From initials to numbers to animals and zodiac signs, these make absolutely incredible everyday necklaces, and could fit every single personality! Next, I choose to wear my Helen Ficalora elephant necklace ($65 for the charm & $40 for the chain) because I love elephants; I am attracted to elephant accessories; and they symbolize good luck, and let's face it...everybody needs a little extra luck at all times!

The point is...I think it's so much fun to wear one, if not two, necklaces everyday that somehow symbolize who you are. Even if you like switching up your necklaces and can't commit to just one necklace everyday for a period of time, it's still enjoyable as well as important to have a necklace that you feel truly represents who you are and makes you feel unique.

Below I have some cute everyday necklaces perfect for almost everyone!

1. For the SWEET Girl, the PREPPY girl, the HONEST girl
Coralia Leets - $148

Jennifer Zeuner - $286

Gorjana - $95

2. For the EDGY girl, the DARING girl, the CONFIDENT girl

Designer Spotlight: Madison Marcus

Hi all!
First let me start off by apologizing for my lack of blog posts lately. Being back in school makes it pretty difficult to regularly blog here. But I'm certainly going to try my hardest to blog (at least) biweekly...so stay tuned!

That being said, have YOU heard of Madison Marcus? Because I don't think I have. But lately, everywhere I turn, whether I'm wandering around Bloomingdales or online shopping on Shopbop, for example, I see SO many cute, semi-affordable, and wearable pieces!

Below are some of my favorites...

$219 at Bloomingdale's

$258 at Bloomingdale's
This dress is by far my favorite Madison Marcus piece. I think it is adorable to wear pretty much anywhere at any time of day. The subtle embellishment makes the dress unique while the color leaves it appropriate for any situation. I also absolutely love the mesh triangle by the neckline!

$215 at Bloomingdale's

$262 at Bloomingdale's
This is another of my favorites. I picture this shirt with black skinnies and heels dressed up at night, however it would be equally as cute dressed down with blue jeans!

$215 at Neiman Marcus

$195 at Neiman Marcus

$258 at Neiman Marcus
How cute is this dress?! The color, silhouette, and unique color blocking makes it absolutely gorgeous!

So, what do YOU think of Madison Marcus?

Stay tuned for the next blog post coming soon and have a great weekend!
PS- Happy birthday Dad!

Five Must Have Bags for Fall

Curious as to the perfect Fall must have bags? Look no further!
Fall fashion is surely one of my favorites--who doesn't love layering chunky sweaters with fashionable scarves, tall boots and leather leggings? I certainly do! But the perfect Fall outfit is not quite perfect unless it consists of an adorable bag. And hey, it's almost Holiday season...so why not buy yourself an early present?

1. The Oversized Clutch
3.1 Phillip Lim - $450

The oversized clutch is a necessity and a staple. But even better than that, right now, it's insanely popular! This oversized clutch is perfect for the Fall because not only is the shape and size so versatile, but it's also THE 'it' color of the season! This subtle yellow is currently appearing all over the runways, on celebrities, and in magazines. So why not incorporate the season's hottest color in one of the hottest bag silhouettes?

2. The Shoulder Bag
Rachel Zoe - $595

Shoulder bags are clearly the most utilitarian silhouette...how else can we text and hold our Starbucks at the same time? This one is absolutely perfect. The shape is so unique and fun, while the mahogany color is rich and classic. With this bag, you simply cannot go wrong.

3. The Satchel
Frye - $398

I am absolutely in love with this new trend. This bag is so perfect for Fall with its distressed leather and coloring. But my favorite part has got to be the shape and hardware of this bag. The look is so effortless and chic that you truly can wear it wherever and whenever.

4. The Statement Bag
Alexander Wang - $895

My favorite part of Fall is bringing out the tall boots, the chunky sweaters, and the leggings and jeans. Layering is certainly one of my favorite trends. But sometimes, when it's cold, we sacrifice our style for warmer more comfortable pieces. This is precisely why this cute Alexander Wang bag is great for the colder months. Pair it with an all black and cozy ensemble and you're still crazy fashionable!

5. The Classic Bag
Chanel - $4,300

Okay, so this bag isn't the most affordable bag, but it certainly is a something you have forever. This bag is the iconic Chanel flap bag that truly can never go out of style. It will look great with just about anything and is versatile enough to wear during the day or at night. The heavy hardware and chain will make you stand out and make your Fall look flawless.
