Maxi Please!

As you probably and hopefully know, the infamous maxi dress has hit the store window for the summer season. All designers and brands have come out with their perfect maxi dress, and below are a few of my personal favorites.

Theory - $385 (now on sale at Bloomingdales for $288!)

C&C California - $138

Aiko - $232

Juicy Couture - $198

BCBGeneration - $148

Three Dots - $164

Aqua - $118 (This is 100% my favorite of the bunch! I love Aqua and own a bunch of pieces by the brand. You just can't go wrong with this super fun tie dye print)

Aqua - $88

A good maxi dress looks good on absolutely everybody. You'll feel comfortable in the flowing dress, not focused on sucking in for pictures, while looking stylish and slim. One good maxi dress is a really good staple piece in your summer wardrobe, whether it be fancy or totally fun and casual. Time to get in the car and drive to Bloomingdales before it's too cold to wear a maxi dress!

Oh, Those Summer Nights

I never know what kind of small bag to wear out at night during summer. My handbag collection consists of mostly blacks and browns, but I always feel like they're not "summery" enough. I have solved my own problem by finding the perfect summer bags in light and bright hues that make any outfit, whether it be black, white, or purple, stand out during the summer. Below are just a few!

Rebecca Minkoff - $295

Tory Burch - $325

Furla - $245

Rebecca Minkoff - $150

Tory Burch - $365

Michael Kors - $118

From Europe to You

I just got back from my month in Milan two days ago. It was amazing. But that said, there was one trend I noticed everywhere. So, if I were to report back with just one trend unique to Italy, it would have to be the prevalence of colorful skinnies. Below, you will find some of the colorful skinny jeans I have seen throughout my travels, everywhere I turn. The best part of these jeans is that all they need is a plain white, gray, or black tee and your outfit is complete. They are so simple and easy while being incredibly fashionable and fun. The lighter colors are great for summer, but with the change of a tee from white to black, or the quick change from flip flops to boots, they can be worn all year round.

The light blue, dark blue, and yellow jeans are J Brand while the orange and pink jeans are Zara. All three J Brand pairs are $176 while the two Zara pairs are only $30 and found in the TRF section of the store. Whatever your price range may be, these are just two brands that sell such bright, fun jeans but you can find them at many other places! I'd suggest going straight to Bloomingdales for the J Brands or Zara to get a hold of these cute pairs.

Fun and Affordable Summer Watches

Swatch - $50 (comes in 9 other colors!!)

Michael Kors - $250

Marc by Marc Jacobs - $175

La Mer Collections - $100 (you can customize these gorgeous watches on lamercollections.com!)

Marc by Marc Jacobs - $175

Michele - $345

Everyone needs a fun summer watch! Here are some of the coolest choices. I got the Swatch wrap watch in a light blue in Italy but you will usually find me wearing my Michele watch. Shopaholic me, I am now considering a Marc by Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors to add to my extensive collection. Hey, you need to tell time so you might as well do it while looking fashionable and summery!

FEDORAS 24/7

Fedoras seem to be appearing everywhere this summer, no matter where you are! I've seen them both in New York and Italy and every time I encounter one, I immediately am fixated on the fedora wearer's outfit. Fedoras take a strong personality to rock, but once on, one looks incredibly fashionable and ready for a day out. Dress up a totally plain outfit with a simple hat and look incredible!
The fedoras shown above (in order of appearance) are Juicy Couture, Aqua, Rag and Bone, Rag and Bone, and Helen Kaminski. The first two can be found at Bloomingdales while the last three at Saks Fifth Avenue.
You can't go wrong.

Perfect Statement Necklaces

Elizabeth and James proves themselves yet again with this one of a kind piece that matches everything. You simply cannot go wrong with this.

You have to be daring to wear this incredible Vera Wang necklace. It is exquisite if you have the time and place to wear it. With a dressy outfit or just jeans and a tank, this will make any outfit stand out.

House of Harlow is one of my favorite brands. Both necklaces above are House of Harlow, Nicole Richie's brand and are SO fun and pretty! They not only are undeniably cute, but with gold being so in right now, they will look great with just about any outfit. I own quite a few House of Harlow pieces-necklaces, bracelets and earrings, and I'm totally obsessed! I can vouch for them being a great (and not that substantial) investment.

Loving Rebecca Minkoff

I was first drawn to Rebecca Minkoff bags when I saw, and bought, the M.A.C. clutch in black with blue interior. But Minkoff not only makes beautiful bags and jewelry, but has expanded her brand to clothing and shoes, which are to die for...as you can see below! Check it out.

The Summer for Jellies

Jelly

Seems as though the jelly trend that has been trying to emerge for years now, has finally found a way into the fashion world as the summer's newest and most popular trend. The Fendi sandals and Missoni flats are my personal favorites, but each one of these jellies are the greatest accessory for summer!
