Spotlight: Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is a clothing store that appeals mostly to young adults. If I were to choose one word to describe the kind of clothes sold at Urban, I'd choose "hipster," as the styles are a little off of the mainstream, more popular clothing designs. But while veering away from the usual black graphic tanks sold at the store, Urban Outfitters has started to sell many pieces of clothing that look nothing less than couture. Below are some of the pieces that I feel would not normally be associated with Urban Outfitters, yet are extremely appealing and look couture.

Ralph Lauren's Spring 2012 Collection

Ralph Lauren's Spring 2012 Collection is absolutely BREATHTAKING. The color palette is exquisite, showcasing a lot of soft, exciting hues and shades of white. As New York Fashion Week ends, I can safely say that the Ralph Lauren Collection was one of my favorites, if not my favorite, and I strongly urge you to take the time to look at the entire collection online!
